Happy 6th Birthday Brendan!

Our little Thunderbolt isn't so little any more! Happy 6th birthday! Brendan is funny, kind, thoughtful, and super sweet! He has a HUGE personality and is a budding soccer star. I can't wait to see what he can do this year! Love you, TANK!

Some thoughts on Boys and Brotherhood

Boy (def): n. noise with mud on it.

Before they can be men, they must be boys. -Nancy Reese

Even when freshly washed and relieved of all obvious confections, boys tend to be sticky. -Fran Lebowitz

Of all the animals, the boy is the most unmanageable. -Plato

Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero. -Marc Brown

When brothers agree, no fortress is so strong as their common life. -Antisthenes

Blessed is the servant who loves his brother as much when he is sick and useless as when he is well and can be of service to him. And blessed is he who loves his brother as well when he is afar off as when he is by his side, and who would say nothing behind his back he might not, in love, say before his face. ~St Francis of Assisi
