It is the first time the boys have been to the Southwest. Every now and then, in the car, we will hear, "Hey! Look!" followed by a collective, "Coooool!" From praire dogs to tumble weeds, they are seeing something new every time they look out the car window! They were champs today. We had a long drive (10 hours!) from Colorado Springs, CO to Zuni, NM. Along the way we stopped and had a picnic. They boys burned off some steam chasing lizards.
